WALK-ABOUT AT NORTH PORT, PORT KLANG III.

VISITING FACILITY AREAS :

Amran Sameon of MITI (left) already on the bus to go to various areas, i.e., Terminal I, Storage area, facility area of the North Port in Port Klang. Seen in the picture are Mr Yusof (Deputy Director of Customs, Selangor); Mr Abdullah (standing - Director of Malaysia Productivity Corporation -MPC); and Mr Wan Din (Deputy Director of Customs, HQ, Putrajaya).

TERMINAL I OF NORTH PORT:


We  can   be   seeing   in   the picture are the containers at the port, full with boxes of containers already staging on the ship. One lorry carrying liquid tank and one container, passing through Terminal I of North Port of Port Klang.


This is MERSK LINE ship, one of the biggest / giant Shipping company in the world today. The Mersk Containers' ship was parked at Terminal I and the picture was taken from the bus.

This was to show how busy of the situation in Terminal I of North Port of Port Klang, where the activities on putting up the containers into the ship was aggresively  been implemented and the picture was taken from the bus.

OTHER FACILITY:

North    Port    also   provided Waste Water Treatment Plant in the Area of North Port, Port Klang.

JETTY:

In Terminal I also located a jetty for the use of Marine activities including Marine Department of the Prime Minister Department of Malysia, in Port Klang.

Location near to the North Port Office Complex, of Port Klang. Also can be seen the jety for Marine Activities in Port Klang.

LUXARY IMPORTED CARS AND OTHER FACILITY:

Can be seen some of the luxary cars parked at an open space of the storage area of North Port.

Some of the facilities and equipments in the storage area for Break-Bulks at the Distri-Logistics of North Port, Port Klang.

Can be seen another area of the imported luxary cars - either recondition luxary cars parked at an open space of the storage area of North Port.

Everybody were watching the view of the North Port in the Port Klang from the bus as we passing through the area. Can be seen were from left to right : Mr Abdullah (Director of MPC); Mr Yusof (Deputy Director of Customs, State of Selangor); Mr Khairul (Manager of North Port) and Amran Sameon of MITI.

GATE FOR FCZ AND PCA:

Entry and Exit Gate to enter the Free Trade Zone in North Port of Port Klang.

The Container lorry passing through the Entry and Exit Gate between the Principal Customs Area (PCA) and the Free Commercial Zone (FCZ).  In the FCZ, there is no Customs duty will be imposed (no import tax will be charged); whereas if in the PCA, any goods will imposed with Customs duty.

STORAGE AREA FOR CONTAINERS:
Containers laying on an open space at the storage area of North Port to be claimed by the owner through their freight forwarder who will handle the clearance of the cargoes from the authorities concern such as Customs authority, Port Authority, dealing with shipping agent / company and hauliers.

Still one of the medium crane at the Terminal I of the North Port, Port Klang.

We can see the containers train was passing through at the Terminal I of North Port, of Port Klang.
